Squirrel is gone!

Squirrel is gone! Just dropped him off, while I will miss him I'm very happy he has a good home now and they can finish rehabilitating him for release back into the wild in the spring!!

It was a ton of work and my family caused me a lot of needless stress, making a sequoia out of a squirrel hole as they say haha.

Still gotta deal with the issue of my grandma snitching on me. I don't even think she cares she broke the promise she made. In less than 5 minutes too. I would be more understanding if she at least waited a few days for me to find a home for him.

But like literally 5 minutes. IMMEDIATELY after getting off the phone with me. I guess it's on me for trusting her after she promised.

It caused a CRAZY amount of family issues for me. All completely avoidable. And it really messed up the dinner I was heading to with my friends on Friday night. Literally my phone started blowing up right as I sat down with them. INSANE levels of snitching occurred between getting off the phone with her while parking and walking in.

Not happy at all with what happened with my family, but I'm still very content with my actions and demanding the best for Juice. Which is what I named him.

I think having to live with myself in the universe where I decided to leave him on the tennis court to die cold and alone would have been infinitely more terrible for everyone involved.

What kind of awful person would be if I did that?

Seems easy enough to understand. Just glad I can be proud of myself for the work I did nursing him back to health, and more importantly that the squirrel is doing great, and I really think he will do well in the future. More posts coming soon! I hope I get some updates from the rehab place too!! Maybe I can see in the spring when they release the group back into the wild!!
